Is it safe to use inside?
Yes, when you use it like any open flame: on a stable, heat-proof surface, with a window open a little for fresh air, kids and pets back, and someone always watching it. Never use it in a closed room, tent or vehicle.
What fuel does it use?
Methylated spirits, sold at Bunnings and most supermarkets. Fuel is not included and we can't ship it, so pick up a bottle and keep it stored safely, away from the stove.
Is it as fast as my cooktop?
No, and it's not trying to be. It's a backup for one saucepan at a time: soup, pasta, eggs, or hot water for a cuppa. On a blackout night, that's dinner sorted.
I already have a gas BBQ. Do I need this?
A BBQ only helps if you can stand outside in the weather and the gas bottle isn't empty. Novixa lives in the kitchen drawer, so you can cook inside while the storm passes.
When will it arrive?
Orders ship within 1–3 business days from our international warehouse and usually arrive in 7–14 business days. Shipping is free and tracked: you'll get a tracking link by email as soon as it's on its way.
What if I don't love it?
Contact us within 15 days of delivery and we'll refund you. This is on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Read the refund policy.
